To keep any relationship healthy, we have to put time and effort into it. Just like a flower, it needs some TLC to grow. Sometimes we neglect some of our relationships, whether it be with friends, family, or significant others. But it seems that relationships with friends are harder to keep up. Maybe because our lives get too busy. Or maybe it's easier to see our significant, especially if we live together. Possibly are family visits more often, so we see them more than our besties. No matter the reason, we need to put in a little extra effort to keep our friendships thriving. So i've made a list of some fun best friend dates that you and your BFF can try. Especially now since it's summer time! 1. Pick Wild FlowersGo with your bestie to a field that's covered in gorgeous flowers. Try to make sure they are actual wild flowers, and not someone else's personal garden! Another fun thing would be to pick flowers for each other, and make a bouquet arrangement. Cost Meter: Free.. unless you need supplies to make an arrangement. 2. Go for a WalkPretty simple, but can be tons of fun. Walks are one of my favorite things to do with friends. You get fresh air, can catch up with each other, and see some gorgeous scenery. Try to go somewhere that you have not been to before. Then you can explore new scenic routes. Cost Meter: Free... unless you have to drive to somewhere first. 3. Go to the BeachLate spring/Summer time is the best for going to the beaches. Splashing around in the water, sun bathing, sipping drinks in the sand. It's one of the best things about summer! And you can also do activities like beach volleyball, water frisbee, Marco Polo, the list is endless. Cost Meter: Medium to Low. You can sometimes find beaches that are free, or free after a certain time of the day. 4. Go for a Bike RideGet in some exercise as well as quality time with your bestie by riding bikes. If you don't already own a bike, some parks have rentals. Try to go to a city or park that you haven't been to before. It's always fun to check out new areas. And when bike riding it's easier to stop and check out local stores/areas. Cost Meter: Free... unless you have to rent a bike/drive to another area 5. TravelIf you have the time and money, traveling is one of the best things to do. And doing it with your bestie makes it even funner. Spend less money by traveling to your state's capitol or visiting a neighboring state. If you can spend more, then visit a major city, or another country. Cost Meter: Medium to High 6. Picture AdventureSpend the day taking fun pictures of each other. Bring your cameras or cell phones and model for each other. Find fun places to pose in front of, or even take pictures together if someone has a tripod. Cost Meter: Free 7. Do a Color RunRunning is not my friend. But if it something you and your bestie enjoy, then i would suggest doing a color run. There are several different ones and you can usually find one coming to your state. Downside, You have to register and pay a fee. Cost Meter: Medium 8. Dress UpI'm a firm believer that you are never to old to dress up. Go through each other's closest and find crazy outfits to try on. Or if you are lacking in the costume department, go to thrift stores to find fun get ups. Maybe even set up a fun photo shoot in your outfits. Cost Meter: Free to Low 9. Lunch DateGo out to eat somewhere with your pal. It doesn't have to be anything fancy. Just go to a local area that has some good food and chow down. If you want to spend a little more you can go out of town to a fancier place, but either way it's about spending time with your bestie. Cost Meter: Low to Medium 10. Go to a ConcertGo to a show that you and your bestie would both enjoy. Depending on price of tickets, and where you have to drive to, this can be pretty pricey. But sometimes you can luck out and have concerts near by and sometimes even free concerts. Cost: Low to High I hope you enjoyed this list of date ideas for Best Friends. Let me know if you plan on doing any of these any time soon :)
